OpenBet Signs Deal with ALC in Canada
The UK-based OpenBet Technologies has signed its third deal with a Canadian lottery authority, this time with the Atlantic Lottery Corporation.
Under a new deal signed with the ALC, Canadian gamblers can now use the OpenBet Technologies sports betting platform to place their ProLine bets.
The OpenBet platform is being used by the ALC for the retail and purchase of ProLine sports bets, according to the lottery company.
In a statement, OpenBet said that the platform also provides Canadian gamblers with an option to access "an extensive range of statistical content, feeds and forums."
The Chief Executive Officer for OpenBet, David Loveday said that this launch is proof of the growing strength of OpenBet's technology offering and the group's expertise in working with major government backed organizations across the gambling world.
"We are proud to be the sports betting technology provider of choice for the Atlantic Lottery Corporation and we look forward to working closely with it in order to provide a dynamic online gaming and betting experience to its customers," said Loveday.
OpenBet Works with Three Canadian Gambling Authorities
The latest OpenBet deal signed with the Atlantic Lottery Corporation means that the group now has three contracts in place amongst Canadian provincial gambling authorities.
The group also revealed that it is continuing to expand its operations in Montr? in order to "provide key support to its customers there and reflecting its commitment to this key territory."
Speaking for the Atlantic Lottery Corporation, the Sports Category Manager, Joey Cormier said: "OpenBet offers us a world class sports betting platform and a dedicated knowledgeable team."

The Atlantic Lottery Corporation manages and operates sports betting and lottery games in the provinces of Nova Scotia,New Brunswick and Newfoundland and Labrador and Prince Edward Island.
The ALC pays out 90,000 wins each and every day and 100% of its profits go back to the community. Since 1976, nearly $400 million has been returned to communities across the provinces.
Shareholders in the ALC are the New Brunswick Lotteries and Gaming Corporation, Nova Scotia Gaming Corporation, Prince Edward Island Lotteries Commission and Province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
