Playtech Hires New Finance Director

Playtech, a leading online gambling software vendor and services provider, has appointed qualified accountant Ron Hoffman as its new Group Finance Director, who will replace David Mathewson.
Hoffman, who is currently Playtech's Vice President of Finance, will officially start in his new position on January 1, 2013. He has been a part of Playtech's financial team since 2004, and prior to that worked for Ernst & Young in Israel in a management role.
Mathewson announced his intention to leave Playtech in August this year. He joined Playtech from sports betting giant Sportech Plc in 2011 as the Group Finance Director. He was also a non-executive director of Playtech.
Hoffman Integral to Playtech
The Chairman of Playtech, Roger Withers expressed his delight at having Ron Hoffman move up to the position of Group Finance Director of the company, and welcomed the new Playtech Finance Director

"He has considerable experience within Playtech's business and has been integral to all of the group's successful acquisitions over the last few years and worked closely with David Mathewson."
